The New Jerusalem Prayer Group is a Catholic charismatic prayer group that gathers every Thursday evening at 7:30pm at St. Timothy Church in Norwood. Our purpose is to help each other grow in a personal relationship with Jesus through the Holy Spirit and develop a deeper understanding of God’s plan for our lives.

 

 

We do this through joining together in community for praise and worship. The evening is filled with music, teachings, scripture reading, personal sharing, and prayers for healing. Many of our evenings begin with a Mass. After each meeting there is period of fellowship and refreshments that helps build a stronger community and provides opportunities for more personal sharing.

 

     All are welcome to join us.  Our members live in Norwood, Walpole, Westwood, and many other surrounding towns. Although our membership is predominately Catholic, we welcome Christians of  all denominations.

 

Ephesians 6 13:18  Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness , and have shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; above all taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Holy Spirit, which is the Word of God
